The last two years have seen us here at Hookedblog compile a collection of beautifully shot street art films and time lapses videos that we have featured / shared on the blog or on our social channels through out those year.

As we are well into 2016 and most people are done with their Top 10 lists of this and that for 2015, we thought now was a good time to finally share our selection of videos that caught our attention or those that we enjoyed watching in this our Hookedblog's Best of 2015 — Street Art Videos post. Check out the selection of videos below and if you think we have missed anything feel free to share your links in the comments section at the bottom of the post.



French duo ELLA AND PITR kicked off the year with this video PAR TERRE. featuring a collection of their drawing made between 2013 and 2015 in Chile, Portugal, Canada and France all seen from the sky.



Banksy invited everyone to make 2015 “the year YOU discover a new destination”


Vhils : Incision - The street artist's ode to Brazil's forgotten community, the Guaraní.



Paris based street artist Gregos collaborated with St.Germain to produce the cover artwork for the bands long awaited album Real Blues, their first in 15 years. He also starred in the bands music video for the first single also titled Real Blues.



PERSONNE - is a film made by artist Alex Void while he was in Montreal, Canada for the 2015 Mural festival. Please note this film is 40min.



Fifth Wall TV caught up with South American artists Elian Chali and Alexis Diaz who visited London for the group show "Entre Muros" at the MYA gallery. Both artist collaborated on this mural on Hanbury Street, London, UK.



We have been fans of British artist Adam Neate’s work for many years. In this film 'Adam Neate in Beijing 亞當·尼特在北京 ' shot early one morning during a trip he took to Beijing, China, the artist joined street calligraphers in Beihai Park, to practise the art of DiShu : water calligraphy, creating ephemeral works of art which disappear as the water evaporates.



Bristol based artist 45rpm was the focus of this Selina Miles directed film focusing our 45rpm’s illustration work.



Another quick video by Selina Miles, on this occasion shot while on holidays in French Polynesia and featuring the artist Sofles.



This Recap video of September’s The Unexpected first edition, organized by 64.6 Downtown and curated by our friends at JUSTKIDS took place in Downtown Fort Smith, Arkansas. The project saw completed murals from world recognized artists including Vhils, D*Face, Roa, Maser, Ana Maria, Bicicleta Sem Freio and Askew.



September saw the sphere, called "Earth Crisis" suspended between the 1st and the 2nd floor of the Eiffel tower in Paris. A project designed and implemented by Paris based Itinerrance Gallery in collaboration with the artist Shepard Fairey, known for OBEY.



Australian video director Selina Miles' third film in our Best of list, she created this fantastic Portrait of an Artist film staring Felipe Pantone, a contemporary slash kinetic slash graffiti artist living in Valencia, Spain.



ElTono continue to push the boundaries with this Canvas experiment video "6 Lienzos" (6 Canvases) created to coincide with his solo show "Aléas" at Delimbo Gallery, October 2015, Sevilla, Spain.



"WildClaw" ! made in Avignon featuring artist : GoddoG.



Vermibus - Unveiling Beauty
In September 2015, Vermibus followed the route of the most influential Fashion Weeks, travelling to New York, London, Milan and Paris for his Unveiling Beauty project. Unveiling Beauty, as the name suggests, reveals the beauty that lies hidden behind the make-up and the retouching that are used within the fashion industry and also as it publicly stages itself through advertising.



Brandalism 2015 - COP21 Paris Climate Talks
Two days before the launch of the UN COP21 Climate Conference, 600 posters were installed in outdoor media spaces across Paris. 82 Artists from 19 different countries made artworks to challenge the corporate takeover of COP21 and to reveal the connections between advertising, the promotion of consumerism and climate change.
