Ben Slow — "New Endings" @ Exposure Gallery
We jumped onto a train last week and made our way over to Hackney Wick in East London to catch up with artist Ben Slow. Hookedblog swung by his studio to see the latest body of work the artist has been working on for upcoming London solo show, which opens this Thursday. Entitled New Endings, the exhibition at the Exposure Gallery in Mayfair will surprisingly be Ben's first solo show and will feature a collection of new canvas works as well as a new series of hand finished editions.
Ben explains:
“The idea with this show was to collate a body of work that expresses where I am right now as a painter. I feel that with my previous work I have taken it as far I wanted. It’s a step away from the safety of what I know and into something new and exciting."The show opens with a private view this Thursday 7th March 6.30— 8.30pm, until then enjoy some teaser images of the new work below.
