NEW YORK IN THE 70'S

Jaguarshoes presents NEW YORK IN THE 70'S AT DREAMBAGSJAGUARSHOES, A Photographic Exhibition by ALLAN TANNENBAUM.

Back by popular demand, they have re-installed this exhibition into DreamBagsJaguarShoes for a three week period. This is your last chance to catch it...so don't miss out.

Having worked for New York City weekly, SoHo News throughout the 70s and the early 80s, Allans photos of that era perfectly capture the spirit of New York at that time. Tannenbaum made a name for himself with his shots of New York nightlife, celebrities, and political events. He earned the respect of prominent New Yorkers and eventually landed an exclusive photo session with John Lennon and Yoko Ono, one week before the Beatle was killed. This is the first time Allan's work has been shown in the UK and the exhibition will showcase some of Allan's best shots from 70s New York Nightlife, capturing the sheer electric buzz of the Studio 54 and Paradise Garage era.
