The Art of Finger Lickin'
By popular demand, Jem's infamous Finger Lickin' artwork returns for a special exhibition at The Art Vinyl Gallery in East London.
Designed by Jem Panufnik, co-founder of the label and one half of the distinguished Soul Of Man, their sleeve art, going back to first release ‘Love & Hate,’ displays his comic-book cool with a healthy does of humour thrown in. With early releases sporting Finger Lickin’s ubiquitous tongue and hand logo, his visually stunning creations quickly became the focus and as much a talking point as genre smashing grooves they accompanied.
