Sweet Toof Take A Bite Outta Brooklyn
For those of you in New York over the weekend make sure you swing by Bushwick and check UK artist Sweet Tooof's Dark Horse solo show as Sunday is the shows last day at Factory Fresh Gallery. We at Hookedblog were fortunate enough to be in town for the opening party a few weeks back, which saw a packed out crowd in attendance. With some stunning oil paintings and installation works on display from Sweet Toof, the New York art crowd were out in force. Was a pleasure to catch up with some old friends and meet some legends! Shouts out to Leon Reid, Martha Cooper, Carlo McCormick, Aiko, Bast, Over Under, Veng, Skewville, Pufferlla, Luna Park, Becki Fuller and everyone else we spoke to.
As well as catching the opening party we managed to hang out with Sweet Toof as he took to the streets of New York and hit a number of roof-tops around Brooklyn. Check our photos below and then we suggest you head over to The Street Spot blog and check our NY friend Becki Fuller's additional action photos of Sweet Toof hitting up some other spots across the city.
The Dark Horse Show is on view till May 22nd, Gallery is open Wednesday - Sunday from 1-7pm. Don't miss it!!
