Shoreditch Zoo — Saki & Bitches
Some wild creatures have appeared in East London while we have been away. The new pieces are the work of street artist Saki&Bitches who previous had some work on this spot which appears to have been stolen or removed by the council, possibly due to complaints from locals as some of the characters were semi-naked. These newer hand- painted naked creatures have been painted onto sheets of wood which have then been cut-out and affixed to the wall using power tools!
The placement of these pieces is fantastic making great use of the metal bars the building owners have attached to the doors and window to keep the squatters out of the building. To visit the Shoreditch Zoo and see Saki&Bitches creatures make your way to Sclater Street, just off Brick Lane in East London.
To see more of Saki&Bitches work have a look at some of the additional hand-painted paste-ups she has been putting up around Shoreditch the last few weeks in this recent post we blogged about the work "Saki&Bitchs London paste-ups"
