Phlegm's Finished London Mural
Hookedblog have brought you some progress shots throughout the week here and here of the huge new mural on the Village Underground wall on Holywell Lane. Sheffield based artist and illustrator Phlegm has been painting flat out over three days and he has now completed work on this impressive large scale piece.
Wanting to make the most of his visit to London, the artist returned to Village Underground yesterday and began prepping walls for his next mural which will see him paint the four panels located on Great Eastern Street. With temperatures dropping in London over the last few days work on the second mural has been slightly delayed as the artist has had to wait for the emulsion to dry on the panels. Work is set to recommence on these panels tomorrow and if you are in the area we suggest you make your way over to see the work unfold. Both of these Phlegm murals are part of a new collaborative project between Street Art London and Village Underground which will see them curate the Wall over the coming months with a number of other street artists lined up to repaint the space.
