Kid Acne's Kill Your Darlings


You've seen them on the streets and now it looks like Kid Acne is bring his army of Warrior Stabby Women to life in the form a short live action film. Having enlisted the help of Burning Candy crew member Dscreet to direct the short film, Kill Your Darlings will get it's first screening at Kid Acne's upcoming Sheffield solo exhibition of the same name. Kill Your Darlings will be Kid Acne's first solo show in his hometown of Sheffield and will be your chance to see old and new works from the artist. The exhibition opens at Museums Sheffield: Millennium Gallery this Friday 22 July and will run until the 23 October 2011. We are looking forward to seeing the finished short film, in the mean time check out this teaser trailer below.



The launch night is Friday July 22nd in association with Tramlines – the “free for all” music festival, not to be missed if you are in the area.
