JR and Maser new Mural in Dublin, Ireland
Hookedblog have just returned from Dublin, Ireland where we were lucky to catch the latest wall from French street artist JR. The artist was in town for this years OFFSET Creative festival and took some time out to collaborate with Irish Street artist Maser on this new mural.
This new work is part of JR's projects named UNFRAMED which sees him selecting images from photography archives. The image featured in the collaboration with Maser was taken in Dublin in 1913.
"The Labour movement in Dublin became involved in a serious conflict with the employers, known as the Lockout. Here you can see a crowd awaits the arrival of the first food ship from England." - JR
The piece is up on Lower Leeson St next to the Sugar Club if you are in the area.
