Jaybo (aka Monk) - Solo London Show
Jaybo's first solo show in London will open on 17th July 2009 at The Signal Gallery.
Born in France, Jaybo has lived and worked in Berlin for over 20 years and has been a very influential figure on the urban scene in that city, both as an artist and as the founder of the important magazine 'Style'. In his time Jaybo has also been an actor and musician (maybe the first French rapper), but in recent years has concentrated on his artwork with considerable success in Germany and increasingly an international audience is taking note.
Private View: 16th July 2009, 6 - 9pm
Open to the public: 17th July - 8th August 2009
Signal Gallery | 96a Curtain Road | Hoxton | London | EC2A 3AA
