Earlier this month British streetwear label Boxfresh launched Swich It Up, a design competition in aid of UK charity Teenage Cancer Trust. Boxfresh are giving you the opportunity to design your own version of their Swich hi-top sneaker. The winning design will be made and sold at schuh and Boxfresh, plus the designer will win £1000 and a work placement at the brand’s headquarters.
We are hoping that some of you will download the template and submit a design, as Boxfresh are giving £1 to Teenage Cancer Trust for each competition entry submitted, plus they also plan to donate to them 10% of the sales of the winning shoe.
Hookedblog were one of five blogs who were invited by Design studio Intercity, (the collective behind cult sneakers bible 'Art & Sole') to have a go a creating a design for the shoe. You can see our efforts above!
Boxfresh teamed up with Intercity to commissioned five international artist to create designs which would inspire the design stars of tomorrow as well as helping to raise funds for an incredible charity. Commissioned artists included Elroy Klee, Ermsy, Rude, Jason Munro and Thomas Danthony
