Hookedblog joins Pinterest's #PinItForwardUK campaign
Earlier last month we met with the lovely people from Pinterest who flew over to London from their base in San Francisco to meet up with UK Bloggers for the launch of their #PinItForwardUK campaign. We were delighted to be invited by Pinterest to take part in this campaign which kicked off last month. You might have already seen some buzz around this launch online as a number of UK blogs are taking part. Today is our turn to get involved and share what we have been up to.
For those of you not familiar with Pinterest it is a pretty cool tool for collecting and organizing the things you love, an online scrapboard or mood board if you like of all your favourite images online. You can “pin” things from around the web onto boards you create, on any topic you’d like. As part of their Pinterest UK launch, they have fine tuned the registration process for brand new UK pinners who sign up and they asked us to have one of our favorite boards featured in this registration feature.
We have been on Pinterest for some time now and have been using it as a place to collect some of our favourite street art images from around the world so this was the obvious board for us to suggest to be featured as part of the campaign. As well as street art and graffiti boards we have also been using it a place to pin some of our other interests and we have created boards for Design, Photography, Gallery Work We Like, Typography, Screen prints, Illustration and Music Videos. We also have a number of Street art and graffiti community boards that allow users to pin their favourite images to the boards.
If you’re already on Pinterest, be sure and follow our Hookedblog Pinterest Page if you are new to this whole Pinterest thing you can start pinning by signing up here, it's really easy and quick and once you sign up be sure to post your Pinterest profile links in the comments section below so we can check your profile. Happy Pinning!
