HANG-UP GOES LIVE
New website Hang –Up opens it virtual doors and goes live at midday today Tuesday 24th June. Hang-Up will be a constantly renewing on-line gallery selling highly collectable limited editions and originals from a cross section of today’s most sought-after young urban artists. Some are already very established, some less so, but all have one thing in common: the quality of their work is exceptional. Hang-Up will deal in rare secondary market works from a range of urban artists which includes Antony Micallef, Adam Neate, Banksy, Michael de Feo, Bast, JR, Dain, Faile, Blu, and SPQR.
In addition over the coming months Hang-Up will be releasing fresh new art from a selection of young and talented emerging artists with works exclusive to Hang-Up. There are some exciting names already in the mix including uber talented Bristol
artist and illustrator Tom Hine who recently produced a huge work on on the side of a rickshaw workshop in Kathmandu, Nepal.
By definition urban art is an ephemeral art form, often vanishing from the streets as fast as it appears. In keeping with this distinctive culture Hang-Up will be organising guerrilla exhibitions which will pop up around London in a variety of spaces where selected works will be displayed for live viewing for limited periods.
