Dan Kitchener's Downtown Mural
As we have previously mentioned the unusually warm winter weather has seen a whole host of activity from the cities street artists on the streets over what is traditionally a quite period for London Street Art. While most of London and probably the UK were nursing a New Years day hangover, street artists Dan Kitchener kicked off 2016 in fine style with this impressive new mural pictured. Kitchener's colourful new futuristic looking nighttime cityscape titled 'Downtown' was painted by the artist amazingly in just over five hours.
The artist has also created an editioned print of this cityscape also called 'Downtown', we are guessing the mural was based on the image he created for the edition. The print is available now via the artists online bigcartel shop here.
This new mural from Dan was created with support from Global Street Art as part of their ongoing Walls Project. If you want to visit the location in person the work can be seen on Jerome Street just off Commercial Street.
