Buenos Aires artist Mart Aire new London mural
Just back from Berlin and we caught up with our friends at Pigment London who were organising a wall for Argentinian artist Mart Aire. We last head from Mart back in 2012 when the artist was one of four Argentinian artists who traveled to London to take part in the The Talking Walls of Buenos Aires exhibition (covered here). Curated by Graffitimundo the exhibition brought a taste of Buenos Aires street/graffiti culture to London and featured the works of 23 artists and 2 photographers.
The artist was in town en route to Blackpool for this years edition of the Sand Sea & Spray street art festival taking place over the weekend of July 10-12th. And with Pigment hooking Mart Aire up with a wall in London the artist took the time to paint a quick wall here in East London before heading North. Find his new mural in the Old Truman Brewery just off Brick Lane, London.
