Ben Slow and Carl Cashman Collaborative Mural
London based artist Ben Slow and Carl Cashman teamed up to work on a collaborative mural which was part of this years Moniker Art Fair program of events. Their mural was of three walls painted in and around the Old Truman Brewery in East London over the weekend of the fair. We have already featured work produced by street artists Phlegm on Hanbury Street, if you missed it you can see our pictures of his new mural here.
We caught up with the two artists as they were working on the piece together, fusing one of Ben's portrait pieces with Carl's signature geometric-based pattern works. With the fair running over a weekend they both spent a few days painting this mural, taking occasion breaks to talk to friends and festival goers. What with all the other events happening over the few days we have only just found time to capture the finished wall, pictured above. We have also included a few progress shots below of the artists at work.
