Art from the New World — Bristol
Corey Helford Gallery and Bristol’s City Museum & Art Gallery present Art From The New World– a big brash exhibition of the new American art scene.
The exhibition features a collection of 49 new works by a diverse range of some of the finest emerging and noted living US urban and new Contemporary artists, spanning the artistic spectrum from pop surreal to neo-figurative to street.
Virtually all of the works have been specifically created for the show and will infiltrate not only the exhibition gallery, but most of the ground floor of the museum.
The show opens tonight in Bristol with an exclusive performance by international burlesque star Dita Von Teese. Friday, May 14, 2010
7pm to10:30pm. Please note RSVP is required to attend this private event.
The show is then open to the public on the 15 May. Check the Bristol website as there are lots of events and artist talks planned. More details here.
