Vinnie Nylon goes POP!

Nylon

We have been friends and fans of Vinnie Nylon and his work for many years now and we got excited earlier this year on hearing talk about the possibility of solo show from the artist in London. Well it looks like the wait is finally over as the artist will present his very first UK solo show Poptimism later this week at High Roller Society Gallery in East London.

For those of you not familiar with Nylons work we suggest you check out this awesome promo film below which hints at the work we can expect to see at the show this Friday, from vintage petrol cans, sticker art, fanzines and screen print to new paintings and mixed media pieces. We also suggest heading over to the Ektopia blog who caught up for a chat with Vinnie Nylon over a few drinks for this great interview.

Poptimism private view and drinks Friday September 7th 6-9pm. The exhibition will run at the gallery from the 8th September – 7th October 2012.

High Roller Society Gallery - 10 Palmers Road - Bethnal Green (next to the bridge over the Regents canal) E2 OSY. Number 8 bus from Liverpool Street/ Bethnal Green Station!
