Tristan Manco's Street Sketchbook Journeys Book

Despite heavy rain fall, Friday night saw a big crowd in attendance to show their support for the launch of Tristan Manco's new book Street Sketchbook: Journeys held at Pictures On Walls. The release is Tristan's second book in the Street Sketchbook series published by Thames and Hudson.

Tristan has once again produced another superb book featuring the most innovative street and graffiti artists from around the globe, showcasing both established artists, such as Sam3 and Titifreak, and the new talent that is emerging from creative hubs, from Colombia to Ukraine. We have not had the chance to read through the whole book just yet but from what we have seen so far of the book we are certain it will follow on from the first to also become another worldwide best seller.

The accompanying exhibition at Pictures on Walls featured an eclectic mix of works from the artists featured in the the book including some familiar names such as Bastardilla & Stinkfish • Thais Beltrame • Charquipunk • Dran • Dhear & News • Losdelaefe & Lastrecalaveras • Ramon Martins • Otecki • Neuzz • Roa • Ripo • Run • Smithe • Sam3 • Saner • Sego • Tinho • Titifreak • Vasko • Vhils.

Tristan was on hand to sign books as were two of the the featured artist, London based Run and Mexican artist Saner, both of whom were more than happy to sign and doodle in books for those in attendance.

Street Sketchbook: Journeys: The Exhibition continues until 15 October.
