The Talking Walls of Buenos Aires in London

Poeta

Hookedblog have yet to make it to South America ourselves and experience in person some the amazing art we enjoy seeing online everyday. Luckily for us the guys at Graffitimundo are bringing a taste of Buenos Aires to London in the form of an exhibition which is set to open next week September 6th at Londonewcastle Project Space.

“The Talking Walls of Buenos Aires” will offer us in London a glimpse into Argentina’s unique culture of urban art. The show will feature mural works, video works, historical and contemporary photography as well as original works from over 20 leading Argentine artists and art collectives. It will hopefully give us a chance to experience a small part of their culture in person right here in London. We met up with the guys from Graffitimundo on Friday and grabbed these photos of four Argentine artists, Poeta, Roma, Mart and Zumi that have accompanied them to London for the show as they all began painting some vibrant mural pieces along Village Underground's wall panels on Great Eastern Street in East London. With each of the four artist's having their own unique styles we look forward to seeing the finished wall when it is complete.
