JAMES ROPER

Opening this evening at the Foster Gallery is a new exhibition featuring the work of James Roper titled "INTO THE FOLD".This is James Roper's first solo show at the gallery which will feature a stunning selection of new paintings.

James Roper explores the physicality of the human body whilst also drawing comparisons with baroque sculpture and iconography. He creates a sort of “optical hyperactivity” through his seductive paintings, their content, style and surface seemlessly intermix into intense imagery.

There is a private view this evening from 6-9pm at FORSTER on Rivington Street.
