Fintan Magee New London Mural

Fintan McGee

Earlier this week saw Brisbane-based muralist Fintan Magee finish work on his second large scale mural since he landed in London. The first mural was painted in Dalston last week (photos to follow) and the second pictured here was painted on a 5 story building wall located in the yard at the back of The Foundry on Rivington Street and now the location of our friends at Alternative London.

The wall previous featured the work of illustrator Joe Peel who spent one month back in March painting a stop motion animation across the wall for her 3 minute Pipe Dreams film. A number of other artists were line-up by Alternative London to paint the space and for whatever reasons dropped out, so this stunning wall refresh from Magee was long overdue. Spending over a week working on this fight scene mural entitled "Survival", the artist now hopes to paint some additional collaborative walls with some London artists before heading back to Australia. Check back soon for updates!
