UK Street artist D*Face has teamed up with Los Angeles based crowd-sourced design startup Blank You Very Much. Together they are currently running a competition which will allow you access to some of D*Face's classic images and logos which can be re-envisioned into a t-shirt design.
The competition is open to the Blank You Very Much community (you too can join!), which consists of nearly 40,000 graphic designers, artists, and fans. Blank You Very Much is an e-commerce and design platform created by streetwear impresario Darren Romanelli who has "blanked" a number of iconic sport and lifestyle brands including HUF, Pelé, Coca-Cola, Burton Snowboards and more.
Signing up to Blank You Very Much will allow you to download a selection of D*Face images, logos and a tshirt template which you can them use to create your re-interpreted designs. Once you have finished remixing D*face and uploaded your designs to the gallery, they will be critiqued by BYVM community members and will also be judged personally by D*Face himself. The winning design will win $500 plus a limited edition rare signed D*Face print.
To sign up and take part in the competion make you way over to the Blank You Very Much website here, where you can also view some of the design which have already been uploaded. The contest is open worldwide, you must be over 18 years of age to enter, you may submit as many designs as you want! You have until March 8th, 2013 to get your designs in so get busy!
