Cheryl Dunn At Ivory & Black Soho


Hookedblog have been fans of New York based filmmaker and photographer Cheryl Dunn's work for a number of years now. This Friday night, March 23rd will see the opening of Dunn's latest exhibition 'Sometimes the Answer', the debut show of London’s newest gallery, Ivory & Black Soho.

Dunn has had her work exhibited at various galleries and museums, including Deitch Projects in New York, The Tate Modern in London, and the “Art in the Streets” Exhibition at Geffen Contemporary MOCA as well as featuring in the landmark documentary, book and travelling museum exhibition, 'Beautiful Losers'. She is also currently working on completing her 'Everything Street' project, a full-length feature film documenting New York's preeminent street photographers, a Kickstarter project which we contributed to last year.


Friday's exhibition will feature a wide range of photographs from Dunn’s 30 years of signature documentation and will be accompanied by the release of a limited edition artist’s book of her work. Cheryl Dunn has already landed in London and hits the streets with artist Pedro Matos in this short film above directed by Joao Retorta for Ivory & Black Soho.

The show opens March 23 and runs until April 21, 2012
