Friday night in London saw the European launch of "Beyond The Streets: The 100 Most Important Figures in Urban Art
" Book at Phillips de Pury & Company. We headed down to check it out and snap a few pictures. A massive shout out to Patrick Nguyen and Stuart Mackenzie on a very successful launch night. The London/UK art community were out in force to support the book and Phillips de Pury's was packed to capacity. 
Only negative of the night was a lack of books. When we arrived they had already sold out, a slight oversight on the publishers part. But despite this, a fantastic evening was had by those in attendance with a host of artists signing and doodling in the books of those luck to get copies. Mode 2, Blek Le Rat, D*Face, Alëxone Dizac, Matt Small, Lucas Price (a.k.a. Cyclops) to name a few.
The evening continued in a nearby pub and it was good catching up with old friends and making new ones. We then headed back East where we continued boozing into the early hours of the morning, seeing us make it home at 5am. But hey, it's not everyday you get to hang out with Stencil Legend Blek Le Rat and Alëxone Dizac.
If you missed the London launch party a second launch is planned for New York City on Thursday May 27th at Deitch Projects (18 Wooster Street, New York 10013) from 6 to 9pm. You don't want to miss it.
