French stencil artist C215 : Christian Guémy and AliCè: Alice Pasquini from Rome have been hitting the in streets of London over the last couple of days with a number of stencil and hand painted pieces. Hookedblog hit the streets and managed to capture most of the work they put up. Some work has already been buffed by the council and another located on a Brick Lane doorway featuring a piece from both artists was stolen/removed before we could get a picture of it. Here are some of our pictures of the work.
C215 was also in town for a joint exhibition with photographer Romany WG at London's Signal Gallery which opened on Thursday 7th July 2011. The 'Border Line' exhibition featured all new works from C215 and RomanyWG was showing photographs both from C215's 'Community Service'
book and his recently released 'Out of Sight' Urban Art/Abandoned Spaces
book. The exhibition continues at the gallery unil the 23rd July.
