London based street artist A.ce returned to the streets earlier this week with a series of new screen printed paste-ups and posters installed around Shoreditch in East London.
The street artist has been hitting the streets of London for over ten years with his wheat-pasted mix of mashed up classic pop images/ corporate logos, slogans and stickers all of which the artist screen prints himself in his London studio. His welcome return to the streets has seen him reinstalling works at some of his regular pasteup spots which include a number of doorways along East London's RedChurch Street. Kick-starting the New Year in fine style we look forward to seeing more in 2016 from this artist. We have shared a selection below of the pasteups we captured yesterday on our travels.
Back in 2013 Ollystudios commissioned a short film below featuring street artists A.ce. Taking to the streets by bike we get to follow A.ce on one of his late night illegal street pasting missions as he hit the streets of East London with a selection of screenprinted paste-ups that were featured in the It's A Stick Up Book (covered here) also produced by Ollystudios.
